In the frame
Larger vessels often need to install more than one chiller unit to increase cooling capacity and enhance redundancy. Our chiller racks are a fine example of how advanced thinking meets the latest technical possibilities at MAR-IX, combining our premium-quality chiller units into a bespoke frame that will meet your request perfectly.
Your MAR-IX chiller racks will be pre-assembled in our factory, including fitting of the chillers, manifolds and valves, with all electronics pre-wired. This plug-and play system means the yard only has to connect the seawater, chiller water, hot water piping and power supply.
Each chiller unit operates independently so if one malfunctions the others continue to operate normally. Chillers can be removed and replaced separately (hot swap) while the system as a whole is functioning.
Online support
Each chiller rack comes with a touchscreen on which the entire system can be monitored. Connect to the internet and software updates can be carried out automatically. Our engineers can also provide online assistance if required.
Own more than one vessel? The same bespoke chiller unit can be used containing as many chiller units as required. Service, maintenance and spare parts will then be the same for each vessel, lowering costs and the knowledge needed by crew.
