The heat is on
The HE water heater series converts electric power into heat. Smaller capacities can suffice with a 230 Vac supply while larger capacities will mostly be powered by 400 Vac. All MAR-IX models function on 50 and 60 Hz, and are available by default up to a capacity of 30 kW. Several heater units can effortlessly be combined in one system if you need more capacity.
In control
You also have a choice when it comes to controlling your water heater. All models come with a simple manual thermostat to switch the heating element on and off. You can also opt for variable capacity control, gradually adjusting the power supply to the desired water temperature. This gives a constant temperature and avoids the electrical system from being exposed to fluctuating current consumptions. One more efficient choice. Install a MAR-IX communication system and reduce your heating capacity when less electrical power is temporarily available.
